“The Highlight of our Alaska Trip”

Is what we hear every time from our clients… This is your chance to visit alaskan brown bears in their natural habitat, in what we call the bear sanctuary. What is unique about Lake Clark National Park? The fact that it is the perfect habitat for our bears! Featuring an abundance of clams, salmon and sea grass, they thrive in this area. Best of all, they don’t mind whatsoever that we visit them, they don’t see us as a threat or a source of food, thus we are free to visit as we please.

Jump into our airplane and let your bush pilot and guide take you for an experience of a lifetime. Of course, safety is our number one priority and our track record shows it. We are committed to showing you one too the most wonderful places of remote Alaska in the safest way possible for an experience you will never forget.

This intimate trip consist of a flight to  Lake Clark National Park, where the beach at low tide is our runway. Thus, each day is carefully planned according to the tide and weather conditions. We fly for just over an hour admiring mountains and glaciers (if the fog and clouds allow) and then spend about 3-4 hours exploring the beach, river beds and grasslands admiring this pristine home for the bears.  Delicious lunch is included for each guest, minimum of two guests per trip. Groups are limited to 4-5 guests per guide for a unique and personal experience.

Best times to see the bears

As you know, bears hybernate! But when they are ready to emerge, so are we, and these are the best months to be in Alaska anyways:

May- September is when we run our trips, and these are the months to spot the. bears. There is no time that is necessarily better than others but there are some months where they focus on a specific food source and so their behaviour changes. Spring cubs typically emerge from the den late June and the fish runs typically start sometime in July. There is no set way to predict what we will see which makes it all the more interesting! Just give us a call if you have any more questions. We look forward to hearing from you!
